The New Jersey State Bar Association invited experienced attorneys on April 16 to participate in a survey focused on retirement, succession planning, and ongoing involvement through teaching, mentoring, and educational programs.

The survey aims to gather insights that will help the association better support lawyers as they approach the later stages of their careers. According to the announcement, all responses will remain anonymous.

By collecting this information, the NJSBA hopes to identify resources and opportunities that address the needs of seasoned attorneys. The association is looking for ways to encourage continued participation in legal education and mentorship even after retirement or during career transitions.

This effort reflects an ongoing interest within professional organizations to adapt services for members at different career phases. The results of this survey are expected to inform future initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement among senior members of the legal community.
