The New Jersey State Bar Association announced on Apr. 13 that President-Elect Norberto A. Garcia is inviting members to seek appointment to the association’s committees for the 2026-27 bar year.

The invitation aims to encourage participation among members in a range of committees covering various practice areas, offering opportunities for professional networking and career growth.

According to the announcement, the NJSBA has dozens of committees focused on different legal fields. Members are encouraged to get involved as a way to connect with peers and expand their practices.

“NJSBA President-Elect Norberto A. Garcia invites members to seek appointment to the Association’s committees for the 2026-27 bar year,” said the association in its statement.

Members interested in joining a committee are directed by NJSBA leadership to submit their requests through an online form provided by the association.

Committee involvement is expected to help attorneys build relationships within the legal community and stay informed about developments in their areas of practice.
