The New Jersey State Bar Association announced on Apr. 22 that its Diversity Summit will return in 2026, focusing on the themes of power, justice and accountability. The event is scheduled for June 25 and will feature a series of seminars addressing current issues reflected in today’s headlines.

The summit aims to provide legal professionals with insights into civil rights investigations within the state as well as practical advice for navigating power structures in law firms, agencies, and corporations. According to the announcement, these topics are intended to help attendees better understand their roles and responsibilities within the legal profession.

A highlight of the daylong event will be a keynote address by Antonio Ramanucci, a nationally respected trial attorney. Ramanucci is set to share case studies from several high-profile cases he has worked on, including those involving George Floyd, Sonya Massey and Renee Good.

Registration for the summit is now open. The association encourages early sign-ups for those interested in participating in discussions about diversity and justice within the legal field.

The NJSBA said it hopes this year’s summit will foster meaningful conversations among members of New Jersey’s legal community regarding equity and accountability.
