The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) will offer a three-hour initial classroom training program for individuals interested in becoming court-annexed civil arbitrators, according to an announcement on April 8. The session is scheduled for April 16.

This training is the first step required for those seeking certification as court-annexed arbitrators. Court-annexed arbitration plays a role in resolving civil disputes more efficiently by providing an alternative to traditional litigation.

The NJICLE program aims to equip aspiring arbitrators with foundational knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the civil arbitration process. Participants who complete this course fulfill the classroom requirement toward their certification.

Registration details and further information about the program are available through NJICLE. Completing this initial training allows candidates to proceed with other steps needed for full certification as court-annexed arbitrators.

By facilitating this educational opportunity, NJICLE supports efforts to strengthen dispute resolution processes within the legal system.
