Ding Gu, a Delaware resident, has filed a lawsuit against the New Jersey law firm Hark & Hark, P.C., and its associates Jeffrey Hark and Michael J. Collis. The case, lodged in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Camden Vicinage, accuses the defendants of fraud, conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, legal malpractice, and consumer fraud. The plaintiff claims that unauthorized charges were made to his credit cards totaling $10,300 during his divorce proceedings representation. Furthermore, he alleges that critical evidence was mishandled in his divorce case involving bigamy claims against his former spouse. Gu is seeking compensatory damages exceeding $75,000 along with punitive damages and requests disciplinary action against the defendants.
