Casino operators in Atlantic City reported a slight decrease in both net revenue and gross operating profit for the third quarter of 2025, according to data filed with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

The filings show that net revenue for the quarter was $942.1 million, which is a 0.1% decline compared to the same period last year. Gross operating profit also fell by 2.7%, totaling $236.2 million for the quarter.

For the first nine months of 2025, net revenue reached $2.51 billion, marking a 1.3% drop from the previous year’s comparable period. Gross operating profit over this time was $556.9 million, down 3.4% from last year.

The Division of Gaming Enforcement noted that important details about how internet gaming and sports wagering revenues are recognized can be found in the footnotes of its Quarterly Financial Report, cautioning that valid comparisons require reference to this information.

Hotel occupancy rates at casino hotels during the third quarter were slightly higher than last year at 84.3%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to the same period in 2024. However, for the first nine months ending September 30, hotel occupancy declined by 0.8 percentage points to reach 73.3%.
